The lyrics are about love. The protagonist said that she will wish him well and it is not too much over. Love was originally an act, so let’s forget the matters that no longer need to be remembered. Him and her know each other too well. Friendship or love, there is no need to worry that they will take the wrong step again. Perhaps separated is better as they don’t need to be in pain every day. The song that I chose for today is “不會哭於你面前” by Charlie Yeung. The direct English translation of the title is “Would not cry in front of you”.

The lyrics of the song area bout love. The protagonist said that she needs to be stronger when she is alone and when it is cold, so that he would not be worry nor make him sad. When she is lonely she wouldn’t bother him, because she got a lot of good memories about their past. She wishes that he could found his love one to continue his journey. Before they broke up, she wishes him that one day he could fulfil his dreams. She leaves him because she loves him. She will leave when she can’t stay anymore, even though her heart is broken but she wouldn’t cry in front of him. She wish that the cold wind in winter wouldn’t make him sick; she wish that she wouldn’t get sad in autumn, so that his laughter could be loud. When spring comes, she wishes that he could be cheerful. In summer time, she wishes that the sun will clear his way. Every season, every year, she wishes that she could be with him. If in the future, if he still love her a little bit, she will come back to him, but today she has to leave quietly as she can’t stay any longer. The song I pick for today is “但願你明白” by Charlie Yeung. Charlie was quite famous in the 90’s, not too sure what happened to her but she fade out from the music industry at the end on the 90’s. To be honest I don’t remember any of her songs. I heard this song on a radio show yesterday and it bring back quite a lot of memory. To my surprise though, I didn’t realised that this song was sung by Charlie, and that’s why I decided to talk about it today, in hope that it will bring back your old memories. The English translation of the title is “Wish you will understand”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist don’t want her friend to introduce potential boyfriend to her. She understand that her friends are only trying to be nice to her, but to a certain degree she is annoyed by their action. Hope you will enjoy the song.
