The song for today is “無人像你” by Charmaine Fong. This is one of Charmaine’s song from last year. I always like Charmaine’s songs, but for some reason, she had never been promoted properly and as such she is not very famous. The English translation of the title is “No one like you”.

The song for today is “分手總約在雨天” by Charmaine Fong. This song is rather new, only released a few weeks ago. The first time I saw its title I thought it was a new cover version of Jacky’s classic “分手總要在雨天”, but after looking at the title again carefully I realised that it is differ by one word. So far I really like this song, and have been listening to it many times already. The direct English translation of the title is “Break up always appointed on a rainy day”.

The lyrics are about how the protagonist copes with breakup. She said: “I can no longer be friend with you. I have even lost the purpose of my life. Tried so hard to love someone, but it wasn’t enough. A sudden enjoyment, how long could that last. The best of everything, please stop researching who is worth it who isn’t. I don’t need a reason to be in love with you, but I know that once I miss out, there is no returning. I heard that on a rainy day we need to let go, need to break up. I had once promised that next low season we will have a romantic trip. When I see that rains are everywhere tomorrow, I would think about you and I will hide my tears.
