The song that I chose for today is “洗剪吹” by Deep Ng. This song came up in my head today when I was washing my hair, so I thought I should talk about this song today. The direct English translation of the title is “Wash, cut and blow”. “Wash, cut and blow” is the standard hair treatment when you walk into a hair stylist.

The lyrics of the song use hair treatment to describe the different stages/feeling that the protagonist felt when his girlfriend broke up with him.  It begins with the protagonist saying that everyone who had fallen in love would have gone through the break up stage. While we can’t choose not to fact the break up, we can choose how to face it. We will get used to this as we are still young. If it gets dirty, just give it a wash. There are no tears or pain that can’t be washed away by time. If we feel painful, then just cut our restrain, and look forward. We can’t avoid break up, so try not to look at the bad side, as it will get worse if we do so. Just cut your restrain and things will all change. It is your responsibility to keep yourself well, so you should not look down on yourself. There is no need to cry as no one would want your tears. You have to go through break up in order to find your perfect match. Since we can’t avoid break up, so just get over it and forget about the past. The lyrics of the song are about a pair of couple that broke up. The protagonist is thinking back at the time when they were together. He remember they have been to many places and that he promised her that they will have a grand wedding party and live happily ever after. But now none of those will came true. The song for today is “先入為主” by Deep Ng. This song wasn’t such a big hit, but I guess it is one of the songs that Deep make an impression to his audience.

This song is about a man, who used to have a playboy image. Now he have change and he want to have a stable relationship with his girlfriend. But his girlfriend don’t believe him, still thinks that he is a playboy. He said that there is nothing that he can do to prove that he had changed. He know that it is probably not possible for her to think that he is good and completely forgot his past, but at least admit that he is not a playboy. Hope you will enjoy this song.
