The song for today is “我們繼續演下去” by Hubert Wu. This is a song from Hubert first album from 2012. The direct English translation of the title is “We will keep acting”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonists felt that their relationship had ended, but yet both of them don’t want it to end so they keep acting. He said: “End, turn the light on, and this movie ended. The song that I chose for today is “真心喜歡你 所以流眼淚” by Hubert Wu. This is the Cantonese cover of a Korean song “越愛越多” by韓成民. There is also a Mandarin version call “灰色空間” by Show Lo (羅志祥) The direct English translation of the title for Hubert’s version is “I love you, so that’s why I got tears in my eyes”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The song begins with the protagonist saying that it is raining because god wants to cover up the protagonist crying. It hurt, and he can’t sleep at night. He let her go because he don’t want to get all three of them to become too tirade. He wished them all the best. So let the love turn to ash. He really liked her, so that’s why there are tears in his eyes. If he could face this problem, then he would not be scare of anything. So let’s bury this memory, as love is no sin. The song for today is “失控” by Hubert Wu. Hubert is quite a new singer, from memory he was the winner of 2011 Hong Kong version of “The Voice” (a singing contest show). This is a song from his first and also his latest album. The English translation of the title is “Lost control”

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist broke up with his girlfriend because she falls in love with another guy. The protagonist is very unhappy, but he felt very weak at that time so he didn’t voice out his anger/unhappiness. Afterward, he went home, sit on the floor and he lost control of himself, tears coming out, started yelling and pushing the chairs down on the floor.  He felt helpless and he felt that no one can help him out. He can only hear people laughing at him. He questioned is it because he is more sensitive, didn’t wanted to yell at others, so he deserved this kind of treatment. Then he question is it that because of he is timid like rubbish, so that she leaved him for other guys.  He felt like he is an alien that doesn’t fit in the world, so he wonders would anyone ever love him for who he is. The song is a bit heavy, but I hope you will enjoy it.
