Today the song that I chose is “心病” by Joey Yung. This song was used in the ad of “幸福傷風素” (it is a medicine for cold, made by “Fortune Pharmacal” in Hong Kong). If I remember correctly, the first song that was used for advertising for this medicine was “感冒” by Karen Tong. The direct English translation of the title is “Heart disease”.

The lyrics of the song are about sickness and love. The protagonist said it is worth it to catch a cold, as it is like a holiday in bed. Slowly stop for a while to get the taste of recovering from a breakup. Thinking about herself, she wonders how she could endlessly think of him through the pain, and was never been able to pull herself away. From now on, it should end, she should stop dragging it on, using breakup as an excuse. Who haven’t been through this before? Those people didn’t die from it.
