The song for today is “四季” by Stephanie Cheng. This is a song from 2011. The direct English translation of the title is “Four seasons”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist thinking about how her love and feeling have been tied up with the four seasons. The protagonist said, seeing the visit of the sunlight from the other side of the road, she can only be alone today. She is smiling and recording the luck that winter brings to her. The song that I chose for today is “一生中一分鐘” by Stephanie Cheng. The direct English translation of the title is “A minute in our life”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It begins with the protagonist tell us that maybe she is stupid to be with him. He doesn’t looks great and not everything matched, but they were happy. She loves him, and never thought whether it is fair or not. She is just waiting for him to kiss her. She sometime thought that if he is someone else maybe she will feel the same. The song that I chose for today is “非凡人生” by Stephanie Cheng. This song is quite new, I heard it on the radio the other day and I love it. The direct English translation of the title is “Abnormal life”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It start off with the protagonist tell us that she feel being normal like everyone is not good enough. So she prays to have something special in her life, so that she could be proud of herself. Until that day she meet him and become of him, she prays again as she wishes to be with this guy for the rest of her life. She is now thinking back, thinking that she was so naïve, she gave him her heart and thought that the beautiful time will begin soon, even her friends believe it too. But their sacred wedding was eaten up by temptations, making her afraid to meet other people. So this is her abnormal life? Time after time, her life gives her pain, it is worse than dying. For some reason she will always think of him, and when she does, her tears start to drop. She wonder whether she could get over the scar and reborn, but all she see is him. Perhaps once she feels the pain, there will be something to help her heal, but she knows she had already her price. So is this her abnormal life? She only feel that the pain never go away, who said that losing something in your life make you complete? Could she get over her pain and reborn? She wonders how to hate him in the future as she still smile when she think of their past. But now she is already carrying this heavy burden, she wonder would she be able to give love a second try. The song that I chose for today is “東京百貨” by Stephanie Cheng. I don’t think this song got too popular when it came out, but it surely not a bad song. The English translation of the title is “Tokyo department store”

The lyrics of the song are about love. It told us that the protagonist meet her ex-boyfriend in Tokyo. They meet in a restaurant, both were lining up, but her ex-boyfriend decided to go to the next floor for another restaurant as the line was too long. Perhaps she had similar thought so she followed him. Now they have broken up, and the protagonist went back to Tokyo to revisit the places that they went to before. Hope you will like the song.
