The song for today is “淚海” by Valen Hsu. The direct English translation of the title is “Tear sea”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It said, love couldn’t move, what’s more could make her heart hurt. The sky that was thinking of him started to rain. The night that no one was hurt, two rows of salty tears flow down onto her cheek. Is him, oh is him, the one that make her see through her tears, giving her pain. How could he allow her tears to flow to the sea. The love that she gave out, she would never be able to find it back. How could he allow her tears to flow to the sea. The unhappy incidents come back one after another, just like tide, buried her alive. When she closed her eyes, she could still see herself being close to him. Her tears couldn’t wash away the promises that he made in her heart. Hope you will like the song.

The song that I chose for today is “哭牆” by Valen Hsu. Since I talked about Valen yesterday, I think I should talk about another Valen’s famous song. The direct English translation of the title is “Wailing Wall”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist just broke up with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend somewhat feel sorry for what he had done, but she keep her emotion from showing up on her face. She saw that there are some water marks on the wall, she felt that as if the wall is crying for her. Now that her boyfriend had left her, she feel that the wall is the only thing that will listen to her. Although time will pass, but these memories will be marked on the wall forever. 12th Feb 2013 (留低鎖匙 – Valen Hsu)

The song that I chose for today is “留低鎖匙” by Valen Hsu. This is my favourite song by Valen. This song came out in the late 90’s, it was at the time when Valen was very famous. This song is a typical Valen’s sad love song. The direct English translation of the title is “Left behind keys”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist thinking of the time when she was with her boyfriend. At the start she said that she believes it is too late to fixed up their relationship as they have argued too much. She believes the cause of that was because he was too childish.  She remembers when they were still in love, he said yes to anything she requested, he even left her his key so that they could meet up more often. She now wanted to return the keys and the love letters and wish that he could take back all the hopes that he gave her so that everything could end. She has no idea what to do with these keys as they can’t open anything, she found that it is an irony that these keys can’t open up their hears.  She slowly open her hand, and realised that this time she can finally let go of these useless metal, so she has finally decided to let it go.
