The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist really wanted to be with a girl, yet this girl doesn’t seems to be attracted to him. The song for today is “想想想” by Jay Fung. This is a song from his first album, which was released in 2012. The direct English translation of the title is “Think think think”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist thinking of the girl that he likes and how he could win her heart. It said, he is spying on what she likes to eat. Write down, a pile of notes. Food tasting, he wouldn’t get sick of it even if he test it for eight times, all because he wanted to surprise her. This movie, he worries that it is not deep enough. To pick her up, he needed to be prepared for two days. If there is traffic, how could he ignore it? Where is the end of the line, where to cut to avoid it, every way lead t o a dead end. To see her, he need to ware cloths with taste, he can’t looks like a square. Looking at the mirror, trying this and that, but nothing matches. Looking at the calendar, it felt like his death sentence is approaching. The sun goes down, and then up again, he just wanted to see her earlier. In the past, it is well known that he is late. The song that I chose for today is “今天開始” by Jay Fung. Personally I don’t like the song too much (just not my cup of tea), but these days this type of Cantonese song is quite rare, so I think it is worth to post it here to promote it. The direct English translation of the title is “Starting from today”.

The lyrics of the song are about how we should see our life. It told us not to get mad even if we are angry. War is nothing like video game in which we can ignore getting shoot. Don’t just say anything to annoy the people around you, it is something that we can’t afford to challenge. Returning fire would destroy the truth. The world is too aloof, too little hug. If we can let go of complain and learn how to love, then at least oxygen could repair the wound. Come on now, sing it loud, we only needs love we don’t need guns.
