song that I chose for today is “紅葉斜落我心寂寞時” by Kenny Bee (鍾鎮濤).
This is the Chinese cover version of “Right here waiting” by Richard Marx. The
direct English translation of the Chinese cover version is “Autumn foliage falling
down, my heart feels lonely”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. It said the sense of love is carried by the
rain, so unpredictable. It flows to his heart when he is lonely. Their love
ends here, who knows, it like they can never cut lose from each other. When he thinks
of her, he loves her more; when he think of her, he regret. The day when she leaves,
she left behind a few words. She told him that spring might meet again.
Autumn hide in a letter through a red leaf; wishing that spring would arrive earlier. Using red leaf as letter paper, he told her that he has never changed. But the funny thing is that he loves her more when she leaves him. He only understands her love today. He wishes that she will take their promise seriously, so that they can start again.
