The song that I chose for today is “輸給戀愛的女人” by Bondy Chiu. This song is one of Bondy’s more popular songs, it came out in around 1996. The direct English translation of the title is “A lady who lost to love.”

The lyrics of this song is about the protagonist got treated badly by her boyfriend, but she know that she can’t leave him. The lyrics start off telling us that the boyfriend said many good things about the protagonist and told her that he will love her forever. She said as long as we stay naive and trustful, those words would stay true. But since the start of the bad things, she had said many times that she will leave him, but yet she still hasn’t got the courage to leave. She wonder why he resist to get married, perhaps he can read her thought,  knowing that she is a lady that will lost to love and can’t resist him. Now that he knows she loves him a lot, he knows that he can go and find his happiness by falling in love with another person. She is hurt, but she said all he needs to do is to give her a hug, then their love would be deeper then before.  She decided that she will stay with him and believe that one day he would understand all the things that she did to keep the relationship going and the unhappiness that she is going through.
