The song that I chose for today is “誰明浪子心” Dave Wong. This is one of the classic from Dave. Dave’s singing style is quite unique and I would say that even today there is no singer that can take his place in Hong Kong music industry. But for some reasons he is not singer anymore, I haven’t heard any new songs from him in the past years. The direct English translation of the title is “Who will understand a prodigal.

The lyrics of the song describe the feeling of a prodigal. The protagonist at the beginning of the song tells us that he is lonely. He said that if he could smile, he wouldn’t cry, if he could find a good friend, he wouldn’t be lonely. But he just never manages to find any of those. If he found love, he wouldn’t run away and if he could found someone that he likes he would chase after it. But sadly every time he fallen in love, it didn’t make fell happy. Once there was a girl said o him that fallen in love with him is like restraining him, and so she can’t take that burden. Now he is wandering again. He heard someone said that he will never get the most ideal person, but he said he will try everything to catch it even if he will spend his whole life. Hope you will enjoy the song.
