The song that I chose for today is “井” by Hins Cheung. Hins is one the singers that I like these days, so a certain degree, you can view him as the male version of Ivan Wong (beside the two of them are good friends as well). This song came out in later 2011 or early 2012. The direct English translation of the title is “Well” (as in the place that people collect water).

The lyrics of the song are about dead. The protagonist starts off saying that it is getting cooler, wetter and darker. Getting further, weaker and lighter, he is willing to scarify his life for love but she didn’t care. When he decided to hold his breath, he feels as if he could fly, floating into the sky. Now he returns to the ground and found himself dead. He now thought why his love relationship ends like this. He said, it doesn’t have to end like this, if he got the courage to end his life, he must have the courage to get back up. So please don’t think that committing suicide would make you into a legend.

The message of this song is quite deep. What it is trying to say is that don’t kill yourself because your love one leave you. If you got the courage to end your life like this, you much have the courage to recover. Hope you will like the song.
