The song that I chose for today is “時間囊” by C AllStar. Personally I quite like C AllStar’s music, their songs are quite different to the other singer group. The direct English translation of the title is “Time capsules”.

The lyrics of the song are about love and growing up. It starts off telling us that the protagonist is wrapping a watch carefully and putting it into a tin. He tells himself, if he treasures it, he will see it again, then he burry the tin underground. He wonders if she opens the letter, would she smile or cry. He wanted to time travel and give her the letter personally, but he doesn’t know how to travel through time. The moment that he wanted to enjoy always go pass quickly, and time that he wanted to go pass quickly goes slowly. So it is a dream to even think of saving up time. Now time had gone by, and we have lost to time. The “I love you” that he wrote up will always stay in the tin. The park that he burry the tin is now a large business building. He had once run ahead of his time. He had conquered love. The relationship had gone bad, disappeared, reignited, breakup and pain. He now realised that he can no longer talk to her the way he used to. We can’t change time, so no matter how much we hate it, we just have to get used to it. Hope you will like the song.
