A Song a day: 6th Dec 2013 (100 樣可能

Today I chose the song “100 樣可能”, by Leon Lai. I remember this was a song from one of my first few CD that I own. It was given to me from my aunty as my Christmas gift. I listen to it quite a lot back then (probably because I only have a few CDs). This song was a big hit back at the time, because Leon was very popular back then, along with his telecommunication ads. The direct English translation of the title is “100 possibilities”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It said that inside and outside, there were no record shows that there hasn’t been a way to love some so deeply that it beyond what people called love. Being freely to said “I love you” but then we separated, there is nothing called can’t happened. Now, living in the modern era, the protagonist asked his girlfriend to close her eyelid and let her body to experience to experience feels beyond the limit. The longer we are in the modern era, the further we should go to really opened up our mind. He doesn’t know how to limit himself, he wanted to be the best. He remembers that he needs to love beautifully. He need to ignores the rules and let himself to go beyond everyone else. Then, she need to say she love him and goes beyond closeness. Saying she love him will bring them beyond reality. Saying she loves him they will instantly become lover and it will have a hundred possibilities. Hope you will like the song.
