A Song a day: 22nd Aug 2013 (人若然忘記了愛

The song that I chose for today is “人若然忘記了愛” by Ronald Cheng. A few years I was crazy about Ronald’s songs, I search everywhere for his old albums and I found two of my favourite albums. This song is in one of them. The direct English translation of the title is “If human forget about love”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It begin with the protagonist asking about his partner, is it that she is too tired for their relationship as he feel cold looking into her eyes. The flowers that he gave her can’t seem to bring the warmness from the greenhouse to her heart. If human have forgotten about love, then how could they ever loved each other. He hope that she can lean on him and listen to his heartbeat. He wonder whether she is too boarded that he can’t see love from her eyes. It seems that fireworks can’t bring back the colours into her heart. If human forgot about love and are too busy to race with time. He wishes that she could look out at the window with him.
