10th Jul 2013 (頭條新聞 – Justin Lo)

The song that I chose for today is “頭條新聞” by Justin Lo. I remember I used to listen to this song a lot. The direct English translation of the title is “Head line”.

The lyrics of the song are about our world. It begins with the protagonist saying that perhaps we have got used to be relaxing, but once we have read the head line of the news, how could be sleep again. There are wars, worrying about new viruses, and flood is building up in the Antarctica. So how can we guess the future and how to avoid the bad things? Perhaps all we need to remember is love. So why be nervous and worry? Did you forget how powerful love is? There might be new weapons and the world change fast. Who knows, maybe we will pass away in the next minute. Everyone will be arguing, so how could we be happy? As a human, at some point we might argue with our partner. We might cry and leave behind sins. But there is no need to feel resentment. Have a look at the clock, the second hand swing very fast. So why do you want to was time, you can’t buy it back. Hope you will like the song.
