The song that I chose for today is “祝你旅途愉快” by Edmond Leung. The direct English translation of the title is “Wish you will have a happy journey”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The lyrics start in spring. The protagonist got his girlfriend to say goodbye to him, and he told her that they will one day meet again. Now it is the summer, his ship sunk. He fights to survive as he is traveling by himself. He thought of his girlfriend, he wishes her luck and he still treasures her. But he feels that she wasn’t really in love with him, so he let her go, and wishes that they will see each other again in another summer. Now it is autumn, he had push through many difficulties. As he is traveling by himself, he must take care of himself. He thought of his girlfriend again. He felt that they were almost be able to be together. Again, he wishes her luck and treasure the time that they spent together. Now it is winter and this time it is the reverse. She come by and wishes him to have a happy journey.
