The song that I chose for today is “地平線” by Ella Koon. I am not a fan of Ella. She had been in the music industry for many years, it had been acknowledge that she can sing, but it seems that she just never had the chance to get a very popular song. Recently she had switched to Warner Music, so hopefully this time she will be more successful as Warner Music seems to be heavily investing in her this time around. The direct English translation of the title is “Horizon”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist loves a boy and wanted to get closer to him. She feels that he is only a few steps away from him. But when she decided to take a few steps forward, she found that she is still a few steps away from him. It seems that she can only look at him and dream about him from a distance. She feel that she can’t get close to him, so she took a step back, yet should feel that she is now closer to him. She believe that him and her is like sky and earth, they would be connected just like how sky and earth connected through the horizon, but it is just she hadn’t manage to found that connection spot. Now she feels that they will meet very soon, their lives are about to cross. Hope you will like the song.
