The song that I chose for today is “手下敗將” by Jade Kwan. This song is around 10 years old, if I am not wrong, I think this is one of the song in Jade’s first album. The English translation of the title is “Loser”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist of the song has fallen in love with a person that she shouldn’t fall in love with. The boy is a player and has many girlfriends. So she feel that every day she is fighting against another dozen of girls just so that she could be his favourite of the week. Even if she came first, she needs to think very hard to figure out how to became first again in the following week. But she knows that one day she will have to let go as she couldn’t fight like this for the rest of her life. Hope you will like the song.
