Today’s song is “冷戰” by Faye Wong. This is the Cantonese cover song of yesterday’s choice “Silent All These Years” (9th Apr 2012 (Silent All These Years – Tori Amos)).

This song got a similar meaning as the original, though the roles of these characters are slightly different. In Faye’s Cantonese version, the person telling the story is the person that being cheated. Throughout the lyrics, it mention she know that her husband is cheated on her, but she is scare about changes and she don’t want to break up with him so she chose to keep quite. She found that she and her husband got nothing to talk about and she is now simply just acting as his wife (i.e. she don’t feel that there are love between them any more). Hope you will like this version of the song.
