The
song that I chose for today is “重回布拉格” by Chet Lam. Chet is one of the
more popular indie singers in Hong Kong. Most of his songs are not too popular,
but they are quite unique. To me his songs are usually very relaxing. The English
translation of the title is “Back to Prague”.
The
lyrics of the song are about memory. The protagonist travelled to Prague, and
found that the city hasn’t changed a bit. While he walked pass a coffee shop,
he thought he saw his ex-girlfriend, and he started to remember the things that
they did together when they were in Prague. He told us that he will only
remember the good time that they had. At the end of the song, he finally let go
of this relationship and tried to move on. Hope you will like the song.
