The song that I chose for today is “逼得太緊” by Kary Ng. Kary was part of a singing group call “Cookies”, the group make up by 9 girls. From memory, the group wasn’t too popular and people can’t quite distinguish the girls, so later on the group shrink in size and became a group of 4, call “Mini Cookies” (Kary was still in the group). But after that the members decided to split up to have their own career. Out of all the members, I think Kary is the only one that have fully developed into a solo singer, I think she is pretty much the only one that is still singing at this point in time. Anyway, back to the song, the English translation of the title is “Forcing too hard”. This song is a movie theme song.

 The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist regretting what she has done to her boyfriend. In the lyrics she told us that when they were together, she give him no freedom, she never let him to go out by himself, giving him no freedom. When he done something that she doesn’t like, she threaten him by telling him that she wanted to breakup. Now, her boyfriend can’t take it any longer and decided to breakup with her and she finally realised what she did wrong. She told him that she will change and hope that they could be together again. Hope you will like the song.
