The song that I chose for today is “Dumb Ways To Die” by Tangerine Kitty. This is a promotion song used by Metro (the operator of Melbourne’s train in Australia). I recently heard this song and I thought it is a fun song. To be honest, I quite like this advertising campaign that Metro runs, it is not hard sell, the ad is easily remember and the song is beautiful as well (not to mention the melody get stuck in your head quite easily).

The lyrics of the song are really just about the different ways that you can die stupidly. For example, setting fire on your head or teaching yourself how to fly. Of cause, the last few ways are related to train accidents as it was a campaign for train accident.
