The song
that I chose for today is “愛如潮水” by Jeff Chang. This song is Jeff’s
classic, and it is probably his most well-known song. The direct English
translation of the title is “Love is like tide”.
The
lyrics of the song are about the protagonist loves this girl regardless of
whether she loves him as much. At the start the protagonist said that he will
never ask her why she cries and he will not care who is in her heart. So just
let him give her comfort, regardless whether it would be a happy or sad ending.
Traveling over many different places and she will always remain beautiful in
his heart. Since he loved her so he will not regret, so no matter how bad it
gets he is willing to pay the price. His love is like tide, and the tide will
push him toward her. He will be close to her and the love will cover them both.
He doesn’t want to see her get drunk at night as he doesn’t want other males to
see her beauty. She should know that if that happened he will be heart broken.
So please promise him that she will not go out at night and don’t be too open
to other man, because that will break his heart. Hope you will like the song.
