The
song that I chose for today is “重燃” by Faye Wong. The direct English translation
of the title is “Reignite”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that her heart hides
into a quiet book shop, but she meets him with the feeling from yesterday. They
looked at each other talking about the future. They both laugh to avoid
thinking about their past. The familiar and calm voice, still friendly
regardless of time. Her heart, still running toward him. Why their dull faces
felt to be reignited that moment. Her heart still got feeling toward him, no
matter how her eyes tried to hide, it still lack something to make it feel
normal. Her heart now stopped trying to hide as he understands her. Movement and
fakes, after being in a relationship, they could be found again. She felt lost
before, but from today onward, she felt the feeling of love have been reignited.
