12th Feb 2014 (情深的一句 – Andy Lau)

The song that I chose for today is “情深的一句” by Andy Lau. This is a theme song for a very popular motorcycle/love movie. This song was very popular due to the movie. The direct English translation of the title is “The most truthful line”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that when the cold wind blow, his heart feel empty. The car flies to a faraway place. Who is the weak and heartbroken person? People feel tired, and tired of love. The heart is freeze up, but it is still enjoying love. The mouth is surrounded by tears, but he got no courage to say “see you again”. He can’t push away the sin that he felt. Keeping her make him let go of his burden, and give him strength to keep going. Walking over his past, he understands that he broke her heart. He now understands that it is impossible to recover a dead heart. Looking at their past, he truly wish that she could forgive the wrongs that he did and say the most truthful line when she decided to leave. Hope you will like the song.
