The song for today is “雙面人” by Ekin Cheng. This was a
theme song of a TV drama. It is one of my favourite TV drama theme song. I
quite like the drama. It was about a guy who have an accident and have an
amnesia. Slowly overtime time he discovered the truth of the accident. The
direct English translation of the title is “Two face” (The TV drama’s English
title is “Face to face”.)
The lyrics of the song are about a person that can’t tell
whether the things that he sees are true or his imagination. He said: “Emotions
and facial expression couldn’t synchronise, jumping between movies, the me in
the movies feel confuse. Is it the excitement from the outside or the mystery
from the inside of the mask? Covering the wound can be thought of as a kind of
beauty. Without memories, it is hard to tell whether there is an identity in my
palm. Which one is my heart, is a complex question. It is like a dream, lack
the realises. Wish that someday I can
face my true heart. Time flies and I could act the way that I wished. Start
from the beginning again to extend my life. Then I will learn to not change
this face. Smile on the outside and sadness in the inside, I listen to my own
breath. Listen all the way until I aged. Is it the excitement from the outside
or the mystery from the inside of the mask? Covering the wound can be thought
