The
lyrics of the song are about love. It starts with the protagonist saying that
she was walking in a desert and she seems to be attracted by the historical
site. (What I think the lyrics try to say is that the protagonist is in a love
desert. She saw this man and she is attracted to him.) She knows that this man
is not for her, but she decided to jump into the maze. The journey is full of
thorns. By the time she wanted to turn back, her entrance was already locked
up. So she knows that she will only love him in her life even though he doesn’t
love her in return. She felt lonely, and time slowly ticked away. She felt that
she is trapped and can’t break through. Now that she had gone through so much
with him and he finally loves her back. Hope you will like the song.
