The
song for today is “暴風女神 Lorelei” by Alan Tam. This song was a movie theme song. Also it was originally a
Japanese song. According to the internet, the original song is “星のシルエット”
by 芹沢広明
(though the two songs sound quite different to me, perhaps due to the different
arrangement). The direct English translation of the title is “Goddess of Storm
Lorelei”.
The
lyrics of the song are about wind. The protagonist said: “Fierce wind, strong
wind, angry like a dragon. Huge wave hitting and moving randomly, thunder and lightning
used their strength to cut through this world, shaken the sky. Fiercely running
in the rain, eyesight gets burry. Fiercely yelling Lorelei sweet Lorelei. The
mysterious Lorelei, living in the centre of the wind. Living just to enjoy destruction,
then disappeared. Once in the darkness that couldn’t be lighten, the love fire
that couldn’t extinguished, she hugged me in the strong wind. Oh oh oh oh, at
this moment, there is only wind around me. Stationary in the memory that couldn’t
wipe clean, the loneliness that couldn’t be broken, I am alone in the strong
wind. Falling over and over and noticed that she is in the wind, Lorelei”. I
have also linked to the original Japanese version. Hope you will enjoy the
songs.
