A Song a day: 5th Mar 2013 (我也不想這樣

The song that I chose for today is “我也不想這樣” by Joey Yung. I personally quite like this song, as it is one of those slow tempo songs that are quite dominate by the vocal. The direct English translation of the title is “I don’t want it to be like that as well”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist found out that her boyfriend got another girlfriend. At the beginning, she told us that many girls love her boyfriend. She doesn’t mind to much as she knows that she was at least once loved by this guy. Even though there are so many opponents, she still loves this guy. She said that if he wanted to hide the truth from her, she is happy to play dumb. She believe that he doesn’t want it to be like that, but please don’t say it out to her. It would be the best if she could forget about this guy, but when she can’t now, she rather to get hurt then breaking up with him. She said that she can share him with another girl. If he can manage to love her in the morning and love the other girl at night, she is fine with it as long as they could be together.

The idea of the lyrics is a bit crazy, but I guess that’s what happens if you really love someone so deeply. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy this song.
