The song that I chose for today is “當我遇上你” by Andy Lau. This was the theme song for a boxing movie. While many said that the movie was bad, I actually quite like it. I found the movie quite touching and I almost cried at the end. The direct English translation of the title is “When I met you”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It starts off saying that life is short and there are too many changes and the protagonist was glad that his life was returning back to normal. He had forgotten the things that lost except her. He is lonely and he wanted to fall in love again. He wanted to have a family. He doesn’t want to be annoyed, so who in the world could make him not to be afraid. So now he meets this girl, he wanted to tell her that she can’t replace his ex-girlfriend. But perhaps because of her existent, he express to her about his love. He wanted to know whether she would believe that he love her. At that very moment, he realised that she have already replaced his ex-girlfriend position. Hope you will like the song.
