The
song that I chose for today is “彷如隔世” by Cass Pang. This is one of
Cass’s classic songs. The direct English translation of the title is “Felt like
next life”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. At the beginning, the protagonist said that
her boyfriend smells like wind, but she didn’t know why she still recognised
him. No matter how she try to phase it, their love isn’t beautiful. How mysterious,
no one would believe hat she knows him. She spent her best time with him, but
she regrets it. She can’t remember why she falls for him that day. She felt that
they are a life time apart as they got nothing to talk to each other. Something
that she treasure so much couldn’t withstand a little argument; in this case
she will not treasure it anymore as it could be easily replace. She is a bit
angry as she doesn’t understand why she let him to kiss her before. The him in
her memory is a person that she can no longer love nor attracted. Perhaps they
should not meet again today, as she felt that this destroyed her picture of
their relationship. She should have known that there are no relation that could
have last for a life time. She can’t remember why she falls for him that day.
She felt that they are a life time apart as they got nothing to talk to each
other. Something that she treasure so much couldn’t withstand a little
argument; in this case she believe that she could easily found an replacement.
