14th Oct 2013 (原來愛情這麼傷 – Gigi Leung)

The song that I chose for today is “原來愛情這麼傷” by Gigi Leung. I love the melody of the song. The direct English translation of the title is “Love hurt so much”.

The lyrics of the song are about being dumped. The protagonist said that she she open her eyes she can’t feel that it was the morning. Half way through the meal she can cry for no reason. She can’t stop thinking and she feels that time flows slower. She hopes things aren’t related to him, otherwise she will start think again. She can’t tell whether it is day or night as she is so busy. She tried to talk to her friends but it didn’t work. She thought she will get used to it, but she realised that she actually got used to having him around. He used to be in her heart, but now there is an empty sport in her heart. So love hurt so much, it is harder than what she thought. She can’t control her tears and happiness is hiding away from her. It was simple at the beginning, but one she fallen in love everything gone wrong. She wanted to be stronger, so strong that she can forget. There is no sadness as long as you have learned how to resist. So love hurt so much and it can change all of a sudden. It seems that her tears never run out, even if she got blind she will still look for love. She believe that one day she will end the war of missing him. At that time she will turn her head around, realised that love hurt so much and wonder whether it will be like this the next time. Hope you will like the song.
