The
song that I chose for today is “借借你肩膀” by Daniel Chan. The
direct English translation of the title is “Borrow your shoulder”.
The
lyrics of the song are about finding someone for support. The protagonist said
he had walked a thousand miles after a thousand miles and he can’t feel any
worry. Blinking his eyes, blinking his eyes, he still hasn’t cried. He sees
himself a few times working so hard. Walked across a few mountains alone; fixed
many things by his hands without help. He listened to his foot step and thought
about he managed it all, without knowing whether she is standing behind him. No
matter how strong you are, you need a shoulder. At least in the dark you could
find some support. Borrowing your shoulder could help him feel less lonely.
Even if he will get lonely, at least he knows he got somewhere to return to. If
he got lost one day, she could accompany him to get lost. He wanted to fall
into someone when he feels tired and weak. If he is careless, he wanted someone
to be with him. When they are together, he is not worry to be weak nor fall
over, but worry that they are not synchronised. Being together could be more
beautiful, but worry that they are not synchronised. Being together, he is not
worry to be weak nor fall over, but worry that they are not synchronised. Hope you
will like the song.
