The song that I chose for today is “那有一天不想你” by Leon Lai. I can’t believe I haven’t talked about this song. This song was so popular in the 90’s as it was one of Leon’s series of mobile communication advertisement for Hutchison. The direct English translation of the title is “Which day will I not think of you”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that he looks up to the sky to watch the rain and the night wind open up the letter. He saw her words talking about things happened in the past. He wonders how to let her know that he is not happy with them leaving apart. In the loneliest time, it makes him think of her even more. Without her voice, the rain doesn’t sounds like a song anymore. Saying goodbye to her in spring, now both heart is not calm. He carries his love, and feel sad as there are so many things that he hasn’t sad. Even though they are far apart, but he still thinks of her. He wishes that he could exchange his sadness for hope. Going back to dreaming, on the lonely side, he saw her, and she still looks the same as in the past.
