A Song a day: 6th May 2014 (朦朧夜雨裡

The song that I chose for today is “朦朧夜雨裡” by Anita Mui. This song was originally sung by Tony Leung (梁朝偉, a very famous actor in Hong Kong), but Anita love the song and decided to sing the song. This song now becomes one of Anita’s classic. The direct English translation of the title is “In the burry rainy night”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that in the light rainy night, it shows sadness. Reading his letter, she feels that their love hasn’t cool off. In the letter, he said good bye, but she feels that in his eyes, he is looking forward to seeing her again the next night. Looking back, thinking about the emotionless in present day. She wonders who would warm her up again, to keep her away from the cold. In the photo of their candle dinner, the smell of the champagne is stimulating her eyes. “I say a little prayer”, please don’t make the store go away. “Just give a little time”, please just give her a night. Back to her hug, how could this kiss be just an ordinary kiss? He get closer to her, kisses her, want her from his heart, and give her tonight. Hope you will like the song.
