10th May 2014 (家有小熊 – Gigi Leung)

The song that I chose for today is “家有小熊” by Gigi Leung. I remember I used to listen to this song a lot, repeated it so many times to a point that my sister get annoyed when she hear the intro of the song. The direct English translation of the title is “A little bear at home”.

The lyrics of the song are about a teddy bear that the protagonist made and how it accompanies her throughout her life. The protagonist said that the teddy bear always stay at her home, a small home. The teddy bear is like it doesn’t speak, it accompanies every day to school, and they talk about all the secretes. In the past, a girl with glasses uses a needle, carefully crafted it. Every time when she feels sad and cried, it was there to share her pain. She loves to analyse him with teddy every night. She said that she might have been lucky, and it might get a bit angry as it worry that it might not be able to share the bed with her. Hugging the bear; turn off the light and they talk about everything. White hair, it dance in the dark and it pray for her at night secretly. Always stay in her home, a small home.
