The
song that I chose for today is “很想很想說再見” by Justin Lo. This was a song
from 2012, but it only published to the public in an album in 2013. The direct English
translation of the title is “Really wanted to say good bye”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that he can stand her
looking at him with an unhappy face, as long as she is still in front of him.
He rather believes the reason that she wanted to argue is that she wanted to
hear him say sorry. He guesses that she doesn’t understand their love wither,
she probably have no clue why she is still staying behind. He rather to have both
of them annoyed then only one person to dream about the other. He doesn’t want
her to live without him so he annoyed her. He really wanted to say good bye, he
wish that he could say good bye out loud. He can only promise her that in his
life he will say it once. He rather to love until it all turn to hate, just
like talking, never ended. He rather to believe that they still care about each
other, so that’s why they from time to time get annoyed by the other person. He
doesn’t want to be so cheap, to extend their love every time they argued. He
rather to have both of them annoyed then only one person to dream about the
other. He doesn’t want her to live without him so he annoyed her. He really
wanted to say good bye, he wish that he could say good bye out loud. Year 2036,
when he is 60 years old, then they will say good bye, say good bye. Hope you
