A Song a day: 2nd Sep 2012 (披星戴月

The song that I chose for today is “披星戴月” by Hins Cheung. Hin is quite popular in Hong Kong, however, he don’t seems to produce as much songs as he used to. The direct English translation of the title is “Carry the stars and moon”.

Initially I didn’t quite get the meaning of the lyrics, but thanks for the link here, I got what it means. The lyrics are about our life in the city. Everyone is trying to achieve high or achieve our dream. In the process of that we might also fall in love. However, as we are always aiming high, we tents to forgot about the people around us, and by the time we have got what we aimed for, we have already lost our love one (or they fade away from our life.) The idea of the song is quite similar to Hacken’s “沒有你．贏了世界又如何” Hope you will enjoy the song.
