The song for today is “皇后大道東” by Ta-Yu Lo and Ram Chiang. Ta-Yu was a singer from Taiwan, though he also sing some Cantonese song in Hong Kong in the 90’s and this song is one of this most famous Cantonese songs. The Direct translation of the title is “Queen’s Road East”.

The lyrics of the song are about Hong Kong. It was written when everyone in Hong Kong were worried about the future of Hong Kong when it was given back to China. This song mainly talks about these feeling in a humour way. Hope you like this song.
