The song that I chose for today is “自卑” by Vivian Lai. This song came out in the late 90’s, it was quite popular back then. The direct English translation of the title is “Self-abased”.

The lyrics of the song are about the protagonist is self-abased. She was afraid to show her feeling toward the guy that she loves. She is worries that she is not good enough for him, so she think that she will be rejected. So she decided to keep her feeling to herself, as that way she would be hurt and she can at least stain retain a bit of hope and joy of loving someone. Hope you will like the song.
