A Song a day: 4th Sep 2012 (雨過天陰

Today’s song is “雨過天陰” by Kay Tse. Kay is one of my favourite singers, her voice sounds very peaceful and relaxing, so it makes her song very enjoyable. This song came out around 3 years ago, and it is one of the two song that I really like from that album. The direct translation of the title is “After the rain comes cloudy day”.

The lyrics are about the protagonist meet her ex-boyfriend in a friend’s wedding. They talked to each other but they felt awkward. She feels that they still love each other, but neither of them felt comfortable to make the move. She realised that they haven’t seen each other since last time when they had a big argument. Because of that argument, they broke up. She believes that if they had calm down, the story would have a different ending, perhaps they could have been married already. Hope you will enjoy the song.
