The
song that I chose for today is “永遠保護你” by Eric Suen. The direct English
translation of the title is “Protect you forever”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that he will be with
her even he has to squeeze himself into the roller-coaster, he will make sure
that she is protected. He protects her like a body guard, make sure she lives
in a castle and never felt empty. He will carry her when she is drunk and make
sure that she can sleep even when she is busy. Whatever that scared her he will
destroy it, even if he has to violate the law. He will protect her forever, so
there is no need for her to get scared. He will make sure that every second of
her life live in peace and happiness. So let him handle her problems. He will
guard her so she doesn’t need to be scared. He will cover her in rain so that
she can remain her elegant. He wishes that he could be in fount of her so that
she wouldn’t worry about him. He rather get her fruit than flowers to prepare
for the time when she got sick. He will teach her everything, just like her
parents. If going to work make her sad, then let him work harder. If she doesn’t
want to be mad at others and focus being herself, then let him block them off
so that she can do her things. Everyone knows that this world is already polluted,
so he wishes that his world is a bit better so that she can breathe. So let
them stay in the greenhouse together and let other look down at them. Just let
him worry about all the problems. He wonders what else he could gave her so
that her smile could be more naïve. He just wanted to see her yawn each night.
