Today’s song is “三人行” by George Lam. George was a famous singer in Hong Kong in the 80’s and 90’s. He still sings these days, by not as popular as before.

This is one of my favourite of all time. The song is actually sung by 3 people, each sung a section. The first part was sung by the youngest, and the lyrics is about the kid look out the window and saw Dumbo. Others think that he is crazy and speaking nonsense. But he enjoy spending time with Dumbo (Dumbo is from her own imagination), and he enjoy spending time by himself. Now the second part, it was sung by a teenager. This part it is about the kid had become a teenager, he found that no one border come and listen to him, basically he can’t found love. But he didn’t feel lonely, because he always joins stars and the moon to travel amount the sky.  Now the last part, the teenager have become an adult. Because of the way that he had grown up, he keeps all his secrets to himself. People around him think that he is arrogant, as he doesn’t speak much about himself.

Although, the lyrics sound a bit sad, as the protagonist got no one to speak to, but in the lyrics, it actually mention that he actually enjoy being alone and enjoy keeping all his secrets to himself. Anyway, hope you will like my pick for today.
