Today’s song is “重口味” by Eason Chan. The direct English translation of the title is “strong flavour”. Probably “strong flavour” can’t quite capture the meaning of the title. In Cantonese, those 3 words apart from directly meaning strong flavour, it can also mean special taste (though in the bad sense). This is a very new song, still haven’t come out on album yet.

The song has a fast tempo. I am not sure whether I got the meaning correctly, but my interpretation of the lyrics is that it is about a guy keep failing in love, every time he is deeply hurt, but he manage to recover and “reborn”.

Although I don’t quite like the lyrics of this song, but for some reason I feel energetic after listening to this song. Hope you will enjoy it as well.
