A Song a day: 17th Nov 2013 (熱愛島

The song that I chose for today is “熱愛島” by Sammi Cheng. Not sure why this song all of a suddenly pop up in my head today. It was quite popular back at the time when it come out, but in recent Sammi’s “all the best” album, they typically doesn’t include this song. This is a very exciting song, so hope it will bring you some excitement today. The direct English translation of the title is “Deep in love island”.

The lyrics are about the protagonist is deeply in love. She told us that on the ‘Deep in love’ island, there are ‘deep in love’ grasses. These grasses are used to make a ‘deep in love’ hat. This hat with ‘deep in love’ flower, when you touched them, you will fall in love as well. She said’ please let me fly to this ‘deep in love’ island and make my happiness meter as high as the sky.’ She wanted to spread the word that she is in love and let everyone in the world knows. In a long overnight flight, she already dreamed of him. He whispered in her ears and she laugh. She felt sweet, but it was all too early. She said she will meet him again tonight. Walking on the beach, she saw him again. His eyes already shown his love and she was shock. The ‘deep in love’ hat hasn’t been filled up with ‘deep in love’ flower. But she likes this silliness, and she just doesn’t want to find out. In the wind, she is already leaning on him. He put some ‘deep in love’ flower on her head; the flower said she wanted to get married. The wind seems like to mess around and blow her hat away.
