24th Nov 2013 (罪人 – Nicholas Tse)

The song that I chose for today is “罪人” by Nicholas Tse. This was one of my favourite songs. The direct English translation of the title is “Criminal”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. It begins with the protagonist wondering whether it is his jealous or his loneliness make him lost his balance. HE would uses his life to fix this relationship. Was it misunderstanding or that he was over the top back then. Perhaps he really had hurt her and now he have to remember it for life. This incident still causes a crack and it still hurt. She doesn’t want to forget and she just wants to treat him like a stranger. She wanted to avoid his eyes contact and tried to stop him from getting closer. How could this called fair, as he felt that he is a criminal. He wonder is it that he let himself fallen or that the reality pushes him to the edge. He felt that his treatment is a bit cold blooded, but he tried not to think about it. Is it disappointed or that he just doesn’t want to be left alone. He remembers that she said she still love him. Hope you will like the song.
