The song
that I chose for today is “假使不可一起安息” by Juno Mak. The direct English
translation of the title is “If we can’t rest in peace together”.
The
lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that at night, it is
time to rest. But he will first let her lay down; this is call considerate.
When the north wind blow, he will let her feel the heat and light first. If one
day they have to face pain, then let him face it, he want her to face other
things first. If they can’t rest in peace together, then please die first. HE
will wait for her to turn into a butterfly, while he became a zombie. It doesn’t matter how lonely it gets, please
die first, and leave him behind, as he is willing to withstand the pain.
Stepping on the home running bus, he will let her sit down first. When they are
starving, he will also let her enjoy the leave and flower first. If one day
they have to face pain, then let him face it alone, he want her to face other
things first. He only wish that she could let him take the burden of mourning. It
is not easy, but sadly he is scare of dead and he left her behind. Hope you
