1st Apr 2014 (傷逝 – Sally Yip)

The song that I chose for today is “傷逝” by Sally Yip. The direct English translation of the title is “Mourning”.

The lyrics of the song are about love. The protagonist said that the movie was on air in the 19 century, back then, she and her boyfriend only have each other in their eyes. They were very happy and never prepared to be apart. All they wanted is to have good weather forever. But thank God that they don’t hate each other now. They even called each other when they are out with their partner. They even talk about movies that they aren’t interested, but they avoid seeing each other. Who in the world could avoid mourning, but is good bye really that scary. Too many relationships have been imprinted in her heart, but none could match the guy. Who is still worry about ambiguous relationship? Is judging by others really that scary? She is only worry that she isn’t that interested in him even if they hug. Then their most valuable memories would be wasted. Please don’t waste it. She is not daring to think about how they meet in nineteen something. She had got happiness, but didn’t end up with him, only result in a best friend that she loves most. But thanks God that they don’t need love anymore. When they worry, they even left their partner behind and called. They even admitted that their faces had changed a lot so they tried to avoid meeting up. Hope you will like the song.
