The
song that I chose for today is “放心” by Jade Kwan. The direct English translation
of the title is “Rest assured”.
The
lyrics of the song are about the protagonist trying to accept the fact that she
and her boyfriend is finished. The protagonist said that she can’t last any
longer and she doesn’t want to avoid his excuses any longer. If he keeps lying,
it will hurt her even more. So please don’t let her believe and don’t let her
say no. Just let her know that when love gets to the end it is just like water.
She can’t last any longer. When she travels into his heart, it is like going
into a war zone. Please don’t let her die as she got friend, don’t let her blow
away by the wind as she got a home. Just let her learn that after loving him,
it will be as tasteless as water. She was wishing that they could be together,
but they can’t now, just like many others. If she can’t catch up with him, then
don’t, just stay away with someone else. Just told her that she can break her
heart, and she could cry as much as she wants. As everyone is looking after
her, she is not worry to lose him. She knows that she have to face it and that
she need to give up hope on him. But if she face it herself alone, no matter
how much courage she got, she will run out. Please don’t let her die as she got
friend, don’t let her blow away by the wind as she got a home. Just let her
learn that after loving him, it will be as tasteless as water. Which love will
be more tasteful, we will need to see which one will treat her better. If we
think all of them will be for life, then they will be for life. They will love
each other more than a millions couples. If she can’t catch up with him, then
don’t, just stay away with someone else. They can go at any time, and she could
cry as much as she wants. As everyone is looking after her, she is not worry to
lose him. Just let her know quietly who is the one that loves her. Hope you
